Maddie:  Mom, were you offended when Grandma said she didn't want to come to dinner for Mother's Day?

Robyn:  No.  She's been down here a lot lately.  It's fine.

Maddie:  Are you sure?

Nate:  Maddie, if there is anything I've learned about Mom, it's that she has a thick skull.

Maddie (laughing):  Yeah,  it's hard to get anything through that thick skull of hers.
