Tintern Abbey - An abbey that was built (or at least started) in 1131 AD.

Cardiff

Tony (our host in St. Briavels near Wales):  Where are you going tomorrow?

Robyn:  To Cardiff.

Tony (with a confused look):  Cardiff? Why would you want to go there?

Robyn (bewildered by his reaction and feeling the need to defend it):  Uh, because our daughter spent some time there and we want to see the place she talked about.

Tony:  I see.  No need to spend too much time in Cardiff. There are much better things to see.

We visited the warf in Cardiff

Robyn:  I like Cardiff.
Rod:  Me too.

 Hay-on-Wye - Book town with 40+ bookstores.

Rod:  Is it really worth driving 2 hours to go see a booktown?
Robyn:  Yes.

Favorite bookstore--each room had a theme.

Loved the stair rail in this bookstore.

Robyn:  Next time we come, we are getting here sooner!
