Correcting the historians

Today after school

Aimee:  I don't like the way this history book is written--especially the part on Mormons.  It is so vague and talks about "our unique marital customs"  So I wrote some corrections in the margins in case someone who isn't a Mormon reads it.

Rod:  Oh, what did you write?

Aimee:  Well, on the part about plural marriage I wrote "Since there were so few Mormons they were commanded to do [plural marriage] so there would be more people born in the covenant."  We learned this in seminary.  Then, I referred them to www.mormon.org.  It just bugs me that they make us look bad and they don't get the facts right.

Rod:  Good for you.
