Dear Ms. G---,
I am Nate Campbell's mom and this may sound really cliche but it's true! Our puppy ate Nate practice card this morning. I had to leave for work early so Nate was home with the puppy trying to get his papers together and discovered that the dog had eaten his practice card so I had him make a new one and keep the signature from the old one so that he could show you. I hope that is ok. Please let me know if you have any questions. Unfortunately, this is not the first time the dog has eaten someone's homework :(. We're working on it.
