A few days ago
Maddie (casually): I met Jimmer Fredette at the last BYU home game.
The rest of the family: What?!? Why didn't you say anything?
Maddie: Oh. I guess I kind of forgot.
The rest of the family (incredulous): Are you kidding? We don't believe you.
Maddie: Well, I was standing outside the bathroom which was by the locker room. I saw a bunch of people gathered over there so I walked closer to see what was happening. Then I saw him and he said, "Hi. What's your name?" and I said, "Maddie" and he said, "I'm Jimmer."
The rest of the family: What did you say after that?
Maddie: I just said, "yeah" but in my mind I was thinking, "duh, only a dead person wouldn't know you?"
