Today--almost 16 years later--Mom understood why going 2 weeks overdue with her first child was actually a blessing.
Mom (out loud): Bronte, do you realize that if you had come on your due date, you would be able to go to the prom this year? (inside): mentally high-fiving the Dr. for NOT inducing early.
Bronte: Yeah, thanks for that.
