After calling Robyn on her cell phone and not getting the answer he wants, Nate hangs up on her. A few minutes later, overridden with guilt, he calls back to apologize on her voicemail.
Nate: Hey mom? Yeah, I apologize. That was very mean of me. You are NOT mean and that was very rude of me to hang up on you like that. So I hope you have room in your kind, generous heart to forgive me. Please do not leave this life-long sorrow on a poor boy like me. Love you, 'K. Bye.
