Maddie: I'm so excited for Thursday! Sara and Carrie are coming to dinner. You know, Mom, I almost like your friends more than mine!
Thursday night Carrie and Sara (Robyn's friends from work) came to dinner and after being attacked by an overly excited puppy who has a thing for beautiful women sat down to dinner.
Robyn (after watching her children for a few minutes, suspiciously): Wow. This is VERY unusual--everyone is behaving quite well tonight. This is NOT normal! (to Rod) Who are these children?
A few minutes later
Nate (in an undertone to Rod): So, I'm having good manners can I be ungrounded now?
