Keeping busy during Corona

Here are some of the ways we've been keeping busy during our "Shelter at Home" time due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Homework and Work from Home

When the weather is good, Grace can study out side AND get a tan.

Rod gets on Zoom calls for work.  He goes into work 2 days a week.
Robyn and Aimee also work from home but maybe not so comfortably.

Social distancing volleyball practice

Grace and her friend, Nate, practice volleyball at the church gym.  Robyn and Rod are there to put up and take down the net, chase balls, and make them do burpees when they miss too many serves.

Long drives

Robyn was going crazy so she begged Rod to take her on a long drive.  They ended up almost at the Church camp, Mia Shalom.  It was perfect!

Fairview Canyon

A friend introduced us to the Lincoln Beach drive which is across the lake and around a mountain.  We've done it several times now.

Hikes and walks

Dexter loves the Utah Lake trail.  He's getting more exercise than normal and loving it.
Robyn hikes with her friend, Stephanie, as a weekly therapy session.
Aimee has been running the Y trail and hiking all over with friends. She went on a 7 hour hike but paid for it later with a sunburn and scrape on her leg that took several days to heal.
We even got Nate to hike Dry Canyon with us.

Home improvement projects

It's really hard to have a zoom meeting when people are hammering on your house!

Connecting with family

We celebrated Lyndee's graduation from BYU with pizza, brownies and zoom.

We drove to Ogden to surprise Gma and Gpa with a visit and a big cookie (which we started making during Corona time). Gma was delighted to see her people in person. So was Gpa but it didn't show as much. :)
