Today in the car after the older girls got their hair cut. Bronte, who was NOT happy with hers because it had been cut way too short (the rest of the family couldn't tell a difference), was being a grumpy pants.
Grace (from the back of the car): Hey, Bronte . . .
Bronte (growling): What?
Grace (hesitates): Ah, never mind.
Bronte: Smart girl.
Robyn: Bronte, take ten minutes to be upset about this and then GET OVER IT!
