The other day while we were at the BYU Creamery eating ice cream
Nate: Mom, go get me some water.
Robyn, a little stunned by the tone and attitude, dumps her half-full glass of ice water on his head.
Nate drenched in ice cold water running down his back begins to understand the error of his ways.
Maddie (who has been making a special effort of late to teach Nate to be respectful of and helpful to girls and women, sighs): It looks like you won't be graduating any time soon from the dating academy.
P.S. Rod who witnessed the whole thing saw that a lesson was taught and learned and didn't feel the need to intervene.
